Kazumi Morton

Kazumi Morton is a master colorist at the Jonathan & George Salon, also travel often to Pierre Michel Salon in NYC and a pioneer of hair straightening, Educator for Milbon-USA.

Always inspired and passionate about hair, Kazumi Morton’s career began when she moved from her home in Japan to Los Angeles to train at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy. Upon graduating, Kazumi was mentored by world-renowned colorist Stuart Gavert at the Gavert Atelier Salon in Beverly Hills. Throughout her career Kazumi has worked tirelessly in Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo and with clients including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Christina Applegate.

Among the many publications that Kazumi has been featured in, Allure Magazine noted Kazumi’s exceptional skill and tagged her as a “brunette master”. Kazumi’s reputation and her endless passion for hair is obvious everyday she is in the salon, as she creates a variety of rich reds, brunettes, as well as beautiful shades of blonde. Kazumi’s goal with every client is to create beautiful, natural-looking color while maintaining the hair’s integrity and complementing their skin tone.

Kazumi Morton is also a pioneer of hair straightening. She is an educator for Milbon-USA, in which stylists come from all over the United Sates to participate in her classes.
